Welcome to
HopeMark Preschool
We have been cultivating kind, confident, and prepared HopeMark Kids since 1971!
Come see why HopeMark is your best option for Early Childhood Education and Care in South City.
HopeMark Preschool believes in fostering emotional intelligence while preparing your child for Kindergarten, socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. Our certified staff has readied thousands of children, and hope to do the same for your child.
Visit us and you’ll see why so many children proudly say “I’m a HopeMark Kid!
Play Based Learning
At HopeMark, we believe that children learn best through play. We strive to give our children a safe and supportive environment to explore, question and experiment. It is our goal that children will emerge from their time at HopeMark with the emotional intelligence skills (self-confidence, awareness and control, the ability to listen, wait ones turn, cooperate, share and work with others) and the academic foundation that will enrich their experience in Kindergarten and beyond
Our School
Located on the top floor of Hope United Church of Church of Christ, we have two large, fully equipped and self-contained classrooms. Our outdoor playground is equipped with commercial grade play structures, soft surface turf, and nature exploration walkway. We also have an indoor gymnasium to allow for large motor activity on inclement weather days.
Who We Are
HopeMark takes pride in the fact that all our teachers are certified or are currently enrolled in an early childhood education program. All staff participate in continuous education workshops throughout the year.
There are two teachers in each classroom, with a maximum student teacher ratio of 10:1. This allows teachers to be hands on at all times and provide a nurturing environment for all our HopeMark Kids.
What We Are
HopeMark is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation, governed by a board of directors, and operates in compliance with the state of Missouri Department of Health and Human Services childcare regulations.
We are a peanut and tree nut facility, and are happy to work with parents to accommodate children with other food allergies in order to provide a safe and inclusive school experience.
